  • Multi-purpose spending companion – Your GTBank TZS Debit MasterCard is capable of making all forms of local payments across all channels (ATM, POS, Online) and international payments (via POS & Online).
  • School Tuition & Accommodation Fees: You can cover tuition and accommodation payments for your wards locally via the payment portal on the website of the educational institution or in person using the merchant’s POS terminal.
  • Shopping Online: With your card, you no longer have to wait until you travel to shop. You can now do so at many international websites that offer delivery to Tanzania such as ASOS, Amazon, Victoria Secret, River Island, Hawes and Curtis and many more.
  • Safety - Your card eliminates the risk and inconvenience of carrying cash and has security features such as Chip and PIN technology which guards against unauthorized transactions.
  • The card is valid for 3 years

Requirement

Issued automatically to all Guaranty Trust Bank individual current and savings account holders.

Transaction Limit

  • Local ATM daily withdrawals: TZS 1,000,000.
  • Local POS & Online daily transactions: TZS 1,000,000 .
  • International ATM daily withdrawal: TZS 1,000,000.
  • International POS daily limit: TZS 2,000,000.
  • International WEB daily limit: TZS 1,000,000.

N/B: Please note that a charge of TZS 7,000 applies for every cash withdrawal on ATMs abroad while POS and online
transactions are charged TZS 2,000 + 4% mark up.
